North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching

The North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching (NCCAT) provides seminars to strengthen teachers’ classroom expertise by exposing them to new ideas and activities they can use with their students.  Seminar topics range from the humanities, arts, and sciences to technology, health, and communication. Seminars are for pre-k through twelfth-grade teachers, counselors, librarians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and media specialists employed full-time in North Carolina’s public schools.
